Each straw rivet is handmade from natural plant fibres by “shokunin” master crafts.

The wonderfully tactile straw used to make these trivets is from the major rice-growing regions in Niigata, Japan.

Through use and time, each trivet will develop a rich warm patina with many years of use to look forward to.

These trivets are perfect for placing kettles, teapot, pots and pans and on any other surface requiring protection.
